Where we use AI
On this site. There is no AI chat assistant on this site. An earlier AI chat assistant, Ask Omie, ran on Google's Gemini API and was removed on October 23, 2026. The program summaries in the directory were drafted with AI assistance from public sources and can be out of date or wrong; each listing shows when its source was last checked.
How listings are produced and checked
Program summaries in the directory are drafted with AI assistance from the official page linked on each listing and, where shown on the Sources page, a labeled secondary source. The 'Source checked' date on a listing is the date the listing was last compared with that page. The October 23, 2026 checks were run with AI tools at the publisher's direction, which compared the listings with their official sources. The publisher did not hand-read every listing. A listing whose source could not be read keeps its earlier date and says so. The three guides were also drafted with AI assistance and checked the same way on October 23, 2026; each shows a 'Last checked' date. Program terms change without notice, so a listing can be out of date between checks.
What this means for you
- AI can be wrong. Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. Review AI-generated content before you rely on or act on it.
- Not professional advice. AI features do not provide legal, medical, financial, investment, tax, or other professional advice. For decisions that matter, consult a qualified professional.
- Human role. The publisher runs the site, directs the AI tools used to draft and check it, and corrects confirmed errors that people report. The publisher has not hand-read every listing, so treat each one as a starting point. Nothing on this site acts on your behalf, and there is no AI chat.
Reporting an error
If a listing is inaccurate, email omer@halalhelper.com with the listing name and what was wrong. We aim to respond within seven days and correct confirmed errors promptly.
